Netflix’s live-action Assassin’s Creed series began production in Rome, Italy for an original story set in Rome 64 AD. Production is primarily taking place at Cinecittà Studios, expanding on the already-established Ancient Rome set on the back lot to immerse filming in this iconic time period.
Assassin’s Creed is a high-octane thriller centered on a secret war between two shadowy factions. One, the Templar Order, wants to determine mankind’s future through control and manipulation, while the other, the Assassin Brotherhood, fights to preserve free will.
