Netflix's Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix Is Out Now

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is out now exclusively on Netflix. The show is an homage to the early '90s, set in a technocracy called Eden, and features several "remixed" versions of characters across Ubisoft's universe of games. The story follows Dolph Laserhawk, a super-soldier who has been imprisoned at the Supermaxx prison, and now must lead a team of fellow inmates on undercover missions. Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is Ubisoft Film & Television's first adult animation series, and was created and executive produced by Adi Shankar (Castlevania).

For Honor Unveils the Theater of Bones Halloween Event

[UN][Multiple Titles] - Weekly Recap Oct. 20 - ForHonor_TheaterofBones

On October 19, For Honor revealed its Theater of Bones Halloween event, which will run from October 26 - November 16. The Wu Lin Ghost Festival has finished; the souls of the warriors who ate the forbidden offerings have been claimed by the White Bone Spirit, and now they count on you for their release. The new PvE game mode takes place in a Chinese opera-inspired theater where players will fight through four theatrical chapters before finally facing the White Bone Spirit herself - with the help of her nemesis, the Monkey King Wukong.

How Assassin's Creed Nexus VR Brings the Full Assassin Experience to Virtual Reality

Assassin's Creed Nexus VR allows players an immersive experience through the stories of three well-known Assassins: Ezio, Connor, and Kassandra. Earlier this month, Ubisoft News got a chance to participate in a demo of the game, getting a firsthand look at how players can sneak, parkour, and assassinate in a virtual reality experience.

Ubisoft+ Spotlight - Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

(Editorial note: This is a series of quick weekly highlights written by Ubisoft News team writers that feature games available with a Ubisoft+ subscription. We hope you'll enjoy reminiscing with us, or perhaps discover something new.)

Brittany Spurlin, Writer/Editor: Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon may take place in 2007, but its setting is very much a futuristic, post-nuclear dystopia. You are Sergeant Rex "Power" Colt, a cyborg super-soldier on a mission of vengeance, dead set on taking out your old commander, Colonel Sloan. Sloan has gone rogue and plans to annihilate the world back into the stone age. He's also using the magical blood of the eponymous blood dragons (who can shoot lasers out of their eyes, by the way) to enhance his apocalyptic rockets and turn humans into a horde of running dead, as well as create a cyborg army. Now, to stop Sloan, you have to save scientists, fight zombie-like humans, and take out the mythical blood dragons (did I mention they shoot lasers from their eyes??) that roam the island.

Everything on the island has been touched in some way by Sloan's experiments, but how you approach each mission is entirely up to you. Chuck a grenade at a group of enemies before charging in guns blazing for a bombastic takedown, or distract and silently take down opponents without ever raising the alarm. You can even lure blood dragons to attack an enemy camp with a cyborg heart, getting them to do the dirty work for you! A post-nuclear world demands creativity, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon hands you the tools.

You can play Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon today with a Ubisoft+ subscription.

Game Updates

The Division 2 deployed title update 19.1 on October 17, introducing gameplay adjustments to the Paradise Lost incursion as well as gear and weapons.

  • Mission Objective no longer remains stuck on "Secure the Area" after eliminating all enemies

  • Damage dealt to bosses is now capped to prevent one-shotting Moss, Wright, Martinez, and Johnson

  • Players with fewer than 2 grenades in their inventory now automatically regenerate a grenade every 30 seconds
