Rainbow Six Mobile Closed Beta Begins on September 12

Rainbow Six Mobile, an upcoming free-to-play shooter that adapts the close-quarters firefights of Rainbow Six Siege for mobile devices, will begin its closed beta on Android devices on September 12 - and the team is looking for would-be Operators to put the game through its paces.

Android users in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the Philippines, Singapore, and India are eligible to sign up for a chance to join the beta on Google Play. If selected, they'll be able to try out Rainbow Six Mobile's new progression and Operator unlock systems, complete with a free battle pass and daily challenges, as well as a new map, Clubhouse.

The closed beta will feature 16 Operators (including Ash, Sledge, and Hibana) and content from previous test phases (with visual and gameplay improvements), including the Bomb and Secure Area game modes and the Bank and Border maps.

Featuring voice chat, 5v5 matches, and cross-play, Rainbow Six Mobile is coming to iOS and Android devices. To find out more, check out our interview with Creative Director Justin Swan,  and for more on Rainbow Six Siege, check out our Operation Brutal Swarm Operator and gadget guide.
