For Honor Year 7 Season 3, Deceit, Launches on September 14

On September 14, For Honor will launch Deceit, a new season that will usher in a new Event Pass, Battle Pass, Battle Bundle, and more. When starving warriors eat the forbidden food anyway, a mysterious illness begins to take hold. During Deceit, the Belvedere map will get a new Ghost Festival-themed look, and players can try the Kensei, Shugoki, and Warden Heroes for free as part of Hero Fests. Testing Grounds are also coming back to Heathmoor from September 14-21.

Ubisoft+ Spotlight - Assassin's Creed Discovery Tours

(Editorial note: This is a series of quick weekly highlights written by Ubisoft News team writers that feature games available with a Ubisoft+ subscription. We hope you'll enjoy reminiscing with us, or perhaps discover something new.)

Brittany Spurlin, Writer/Editor: It's time to go back to school, which can only mean one thing: booting up your gaming system and diving into the virtual worlds of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, and the Viking Age with the Assassin's Creed Discovery Tour series. Set in the same worlds as Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Discovery Tour gives players an opportunity to immerse themselves into the daily lives of these ancient civilizations - without the conflict and combat that define the Assassin's Creed stories.

In Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece, you'll be able to partake in a number of guided tours that will give you deep dive on themes like architecture, religion, daily life, and more. Not only do these tours provide information about the time periods, they also include insights from the development teams about when and why they took creative liberties (did you know the pyramids in Assassin's Creed Origins are way taller than in real life to make them easier for players to see from far away? Don't worry, though, they're still to scale in terms of height-to-width ratio). Discovery Tour: Viking Age takes a different approach, letting you play through a full eight-mission story from four different perspectives during the Viking invasion of England in the ninth century. Not only will you get to play through life for two different Vikings, you'll also get to experience two different Anglo-Saxon perspectives, giving you a well-rounded picture of the time.

With a Ubisoft+ subscription, you can embark on Discovery Tour: Viking Age, Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece, and Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt today.
