Star Wars Day is almost here, and Ubisoft is celebrating May the 4th with exciting updates and new crossovers for Star Wars Outlaws and Brawlhalla.
Star Wars Outlaws
Star Wars Outlaws is bringing exciting giveaways and activities for fans of the game. On May 4th, there will be a special Nix plushie giveaway (keep an eye out on socials for entry instructions). Plus, there will be a photo mode competition where players can share their in-game photos of well-known locations in the Star Wars galaxy during the week of May 4.
Fans that haven't played Star Wars Outlaws yet can access a free demo, which will be permanently available, across most platforms where the game is already available. The demo gives players access to a part of the game for three hours, giving them a taste of the high-risk, high-reward life of a scoundrel.
Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate's Fortune, the game's latest story pack, also launches soon on May 15. The content will be automatically accessible and free to Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass owners or available for separate purchase. With the release of Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate's Fortune, Ultimate and Deluxe Edition owners also receive the Naboo Nobility and Desert Nomad cosmetic packs.
As part of the Title Update alongside A Pirate's Fortune launch on May 15, all players will be gifted cosmetic items inspired by the Disney+ series, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew™, which will include an outfit for Nix, a Trophy for the speeder and a Trinket for both the speeder and the Trailblazer. After downloading and installing the update, the gift will appear in player's delivery crate on the Trailblazer.
Brawlhalla
Brawlhalla is also celebrating Star Wars Day with a special May the 4th Event, which includes a new Mythic Crossover: General Grievous. The cyborg droid general will prove fierce on the battlefield - here's what you need to know:
-
General Grievous Mythic Crossover for Mako
-
Uses lightsabers, both dual-wielding (Katars) and as a single saber (Greatsword)
-
Signature Attacks allow him to wield up to four lightsabers at once, crawl like a spider, or grab opponents with metal talons on his feet
General Grievous joins nine other Star Wars characters in the Brawlhalla roster from previous Crossover Events: Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Maul, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Kay Vess and Nix, and the Mandalorian with Grogu.
The May the 4th Event runs now through May 13, and also offers two new Weapon skins. The Asgardian Great Lightsaber is an original design with swappable colors, and features custom sounds, light attack swaps, and animations. The Death Star Hologram (Orb) is inspired by a hologram seen in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones™ and can be earned for free by completing an in-game challenge during the first week of the Event. Players can also receive the Droid General title as a reward for simply logging in during the Event.
Star Wars Outlaws is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC through Epic Games Store, Steam and Ubisoft Connect, as well as with a Ubisoft+ Premium subscription. Brawlhalla is free to play, available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Mac, iOS and Android devices, and Windows PC through Steam, Ubisoft Connect, and the Epic Games Store. May the 4th be with you!
