The Halo crossover includes an Elite Set for Sledge that comes with the Spartan-117 uniform and helmet and a gadget skin that makes Sledge’s breaching hammer look like a Banished Gravity Hammer. The set also includes three weapon skins, an Operator card and background, a victory celebration, and a Cortana chibi charm.
Riders Republic Skate Add-On Out Now; Play For Free September 28 – Oct 2
Riders Republic’s Skate add-on is now available, bringing the long-awaited Skateboarding sport to the game. To kickflip things off, Season 8: The Deck Festival began on September 27. Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, the upcoming Netflix animated series, debuted a new trailer and announced a release date during the streamer’s DROP 01 showcase on September 27. Premiering on October 19, the show is an homage to the early ‘90s and stars remixed versions of several characters throughout Ubisoft’s catalogue of games, including Rayman, Marcus Holloway, Jade, Pey’j, Pagan Min, and more.
How The Crew Motorfest Team Is Supporting Hawaii Emergency Relief Efforts
In August of 2023, devastating wildfires ravaged the Hawaiian island of Maui, causing massive damage and forcing many people to evacuate their homes. The team at Ivory Tower, which is set on the island of O’ahu, has taken initiative to support those affected. The studio donated to the American Red Cross, and encourages players to do the same.
Ubisoft+ Spotlight – Assassin’s Creed
(Editorial note: This is a series of quick weekly highlights written by Ubisoft News team writers that feature games available with a Ubisoft+ subscription. We hope you’ll enjoy reminiscing with us, or perhaps discover something new.)
Brittany Spurlin, Writer/Editor: It’s time to take a Leap of Faith into the start of a franchise with Assassin’s Creed. Don the robes and Hidden Blade of Altaïr (well, technically you’ll relive his memories through his present-day descendant, Desmond Miles) as you explore an open world set in the Middle East during the Third Crusade. Altaïr is a member of the Assassin Brotherhood, tasked with eliminating members of the Templar Order. Along the way, he’ll uncover secrets about mysterious artifacts, and slowly get pulled into a conspiracy he never could have imagined.
The story in Assassin’s Creed sets the stage for a franchise that’s still going strong (Assassin’s Creed Mirage, a return to the series’ roots, is set to release next week), introducing us to the centuries-long conflict between the Assassins and Templars; the art of blending in and working from the shadows; and parkouring throughout dense cityscapes. While Assassin’s Creed’s free-running has certainly evolved since 2007, the feeling of the Holy Land being your personal playground is as fresh today as it was then. Being able to nimbly leap across rooftops, swiftly scale walls, and gracefully dive into hay piles set the tone for movement in Assassin’s Creed, and has remained essential to every installment since 2007.
You can play Assassin’s Creed today with a Ubisoft+ subscription.
