It’s been an exciting time to be an Assassin’s Creed fan, with Assassin’s Creed Shadows celebrating one year since its release, a glimpse of what’s coming with codename Hexe and Invictus, and news on the Netflix live-action series. However, so much more has been happening with the Assassin’s Creed franchise beyond games, from a limited-time event in RAID: Shadow Legends to exhibitions in the British Museum and Paris Philharmonic. Check it out:
Assassin’s Creed in RAID: Shadow Legends

In a major global crossover event, Assassin’s Creed is part of a RAID: Shadow Legends collaboration. The limited-time event is live until April 8 and brings some of the franchise’s most iconic Assassins into the world of Teleria, giving players a new way to embrace the Creed through exclusive content, challenges, and rewards. RAID players can recruit Ezio Auditore, Edward Kenway, Kassandra, Basim Ibn Ishaq, and Bayek of Siwa as playable Champions, along with Pontiff Augustin, a zealous RAID exclusive character created specifically for the event. Ezio is free to unlock until April 8 by logging in on seven different days, so don’t wait to jump in!
Paris Philharmonic Video Games & Music Exhibition
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Unity, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be featured in the Paris Philharmonic’s Video Games & Music exhibition, running April 2 – November 1. Curated by Fanny Rebillard and Jean Zeid, this exhibition will explore the connection between video games and music, incorporating some of gaming’s most iconic melodies ranging from the 8-bit era to symphonic orchestras.
Assassin’s Creed: The Piano Collection
A new album titled Assassin’s Creed: The Piano Collection is set to be released later this year. Created in collaboration with renowned music label Harmonia Mundi and the Paris Philharmonic, this album will feature some of Assassin’s Creed’s most popular tracks adapted to the piano. It was recorded by pianist Nicholas Horvath on a 1928 Steinway & Sons Grand Piano Model A.
The first single, America (The Story of Connor Kenway), is a piano adaptation of Assassin’s Creed III’s main theme, and is now available on all streaming platforms.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows in The British Museum
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is featured in the British Museum’s Samurai exhibition, running now through May 4. The exhibition invites visitors to discover the reality behind a millenium of myth around the distinctive Samurai warrior class, and explores the samurai’s enduring legacy from medieval battlefields to contemporary video games, film, and fashion.

To celebrate the Samurai exhibition, Dr. Rosina Buckland, curator of Japanese Collections at the British Museum, will be a guest on Echoes of History.
