Dirt bikes are cool and all, but the awesomeness of anything you can find in the real world automatically pales in comparison with a fire-snorting unicorn ridden by a gun-toting cat. So clearly, it's a good thing that the bizarre pair will fill in for the Trials series' traditional motorcyclists in Trials Fusion: Awesome Level Max, a downloadable expansion for Trials Fusion due out July 14.

Awesome Level Max is the biggest DLC expansion in Trials history, including a whopping 40 new tracks, and the cat-and-unicorn duo are just part of what's on tap. They take center stage in The Awesome Adventure, a mode that introduces eight new Trials tracks, a new soundtrack, and an assortment of minigames. Also along for the ride is RedLynx vs. All-Stars, a collaboration between developers and fan creators that includes more than 20 new tracks. To round out the package, Awesome Level Max also comes with new garage items, items for the track editor and track challenges.
If you're intrigued by Awesome Level Max but haven't yet picked up Trials Fusion, good news: the full game will be re-released with all of its DLC – including Awesome Level Max, as well as all previous content packs and title updates – as Trials Fusion: The Awesome Max Edition, which will be released for download on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and at retail for PS4 and Xbox One. Awesome Level Max, meanwhile, will be available as a download for all platforms.
