Ghost Recon Wildlands - Creating a Customizable Experience for PC Gamers

If you're a dedicated PC gamer, you've come to expect certain things from your games. A high level of visual fidelity is a given if you're rocking a high-end video card and a 4K monitor, but the best PC games also feature a level of flexibility and customization that lets you tailor the experience to your preferences and hardware. The developers of Ghost Recon Wildlands want you to know that they're taking the PC version of the game seriously - so seriously, in fact, that they want to ensure the PC is the best way to experience the game's lush landscapes and open-ended action. After gathering feedback from PC gamers during the game's betas, they've revealed a list of ways that Ghost Recon Wildlands will take advantage of high-end hardware while still offering a solid experience on more modest machines.

On the visual front, the PC version of Ghost Recon Wildlands supports not just 4K resolutions, but ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratios, multiple monitors, and resolution scaling between 50% and 200%. There's no framerate cap, and the game even features Ansel support, letting players with compatible Nvidia cards take dynamic, 360-degree screenshots. The game also features a full range of graphics options, letting players tweak everything from general presets to godrays and ambient occlusion, and kicks in a benchmark tool, VRAM gauge, and the ability to preview graphics-settings changes to help ensure you're getting the best performance out of your system. Ghost Recon Wildlands includes a number of other PC-exclusive features, including customizable controls, full keyboard and mouse support (including UI adaptation), multiplayer text chat for those not using headsets, and more. For a full rundown of features specific to the PC version, including specs and supported hardware, check out the full post on the official site.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is scheduled for release on March 7.
