Enter Your Best In-Game Photos in Ubisoft’s Photomode Contest

Have you ever captured a perfect in-game photo? A frenetic action shot in the middle of a battle, perhaps, or a Leap of Faith against a beautiful sunset? Now, you can share your talent with the world in Photomode, a global contest by Ubisoft where players, photographers, and artists can submit their most creative in-game photos from Ubisoft games for a shot at a bevy of prizes and the chance to be featured in a photography exhibition in New York City.

[UN] Enter Your Best In-Game Photos in Ubisoft’s Photomode Contest - 4

A jury of five in-game photography connoisseurs – digital artist Kent Sheely, photographer Will Saunders, VR artist Melanie Courtinat, in-game photographer Pascal Greco and Ubisoft Editorial VP Bio Jade Adam Granger – will select winners across portrait, outdoor & wildlife, experimental, still architecture, motion, sports, and narrative categories. The top three winners will win a trip to NYC to see their photos on display, and a high-end MSI Raider GE67HX laptop to run the latest games with a free Ubisoft+ subscription for a year. Additional prizes for the top 20 winners include subscriptions to Ubisoft+, and fine-art prints of their photos.

The goal behind Photomode is to let players’ creativity run free within Ubisoft’s worlds, and show off how stunning this photographic medium can be. “Games are where art and technology meet, where players have an active role,” said Granger. “Using photomode tools, they can create new aesthetics within the game and can express emotion, wonder and beauty. I am very excited to see the in-game photographs that will be shared throughout the contest and to discover new perspectives on Ubisoft games.”

To enter, players can submit up to four photos in a single Instagram or Twitter post using the hashtag #UbisoftPhotomode or via Ubisoft.com/Photomode. If players want to play around with different Ubisoft photomodes, they can activate a free trial of Ubisoft+ via ubisoftplus.com. This trial will be available from September 10 through October 10 on PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna.

The Photomode contest submission period begins September 10 (9PM CEST) and ends on October 16 (9PM CEST), 2022.

Ubisoft games that have a photomode include Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Far Cry 5, Far Cry 6, Far Cry New Dawn, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Riders Republic, The Crew 2, The Division 2, Watch Dogs: Legion, Trackmania, Steep, and more.
