The second free expansion for The Division, Conflict, will be available to all players tomorrow, May 24, on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and it's bringing an extensive list of new features and changes. How extensive? The developers at Ubisoft Massive have posted a full list of what's coming with the patch, including new endgame content, new gear sets, changes to the Dark Zone, and a slew of bug fixes.
The centerpiece of it all is Clear Sky, a new Incursion intended for four level-30 players equipped with high-level gear (but playable by one to three players looking for a stiff challenge). Following the events of Falcon Lost, it sees the Rikers commandeering a Last Man Battalion anti-air installation in Columbus Circle and using it to claim Manhattan's supply drops for themselves. Unlike Falcon Lost, it will feature checkpoints – and if that makes it too easy, you'll be able to run the Incursion on hard mode, and then on Challenge Mode the following week.
Conflict also adds four new gear sets for high-level players, which now grant new abilities when the set is complete. These are:
- Final Measure, which lets you defuse and re-use enemy grenades.
- Hunter's Faith, which grants you temporary armor when you land shots, with far shots granting more armor.
- Lone Star, which automatically reloads your guns when you holster them.
- Predator's Mark, which bleeds an enemy for 100% of the damage you've inflicted after hitting them with 10 consecutive shots.
Additionally, Conflict adds Search and Destroy missions, which are activated only after all the Encounters and side missions in an area have been completed. Completing Search and Destroy missions then gives you intel on High-Value Targets, faction leaders that yield high-level rewards when vanquished. That's only the beginning, as Dark Zone loot hijacking, changes to loot and matchmaking, and much more are in store for tomorrow. For all the details, check out the full list of features and changes on the official site.
The Conflict expansion will be available May 24 for all players of The Division on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
