San Diego Comic-Con is nearly upon us, and The Division 2's developers will be there to fill you in on new ways to explore the post-pandemic world of The Division 2. Taking place on July 19, the "Infectiously Expanding The Universe of Tom Clancy's The Division 2" panel will explore how The Division 2's narrative and world was crafted, and how it's being expanded through an upcoming comic book, novel, and lore book.
Each of the works that will be discussed will shed light on a different aspect of The Division 2's story.
• Dark Horse comic book – Set between the events of the first and second game, the comic series explores the Strategic Homeland Division's influence outside of NYC and Washington DC.
• Novel – Taking place in the months between The Division 2 and its predecessor, the novel follows April Kelleher, a resourceful and determined survivor who travels from the hostile streets of New York to the devastated American Midwest in a story about survival and family. The novel will be available March 2019.
• The World of Tom Clancy's The Division – This lore book offers crucial information about the world, tactics, gear, and mission of the Strategic Homeland Division. Filled with tons of lore and art, this 192-page hardcover book from Dark Horse contains everything new and veteran Agents need to know.
The panel will be hosted by What's Good Games' Andrea Rene, and features Creative Director Julian Gerighty, Lead Narrative Designer John Björling, author Alex Irvine, and Dark Horse editor Ian Tucker.
