The Rogue Prince of Persia released a major free update across all platforms to celebrate its first anniversary, bringing thrilling updates like new combat zones, a new weapon and tool, and parkour updates. In the popular roguelite, developed by Evil Empire, you play as a Prince on a mission to save his kingdom from invading Huns, taking you on a death-defying platforming and acrobatic adventure as you fight against enemies wielding dark magic to retake the capital city. Combat Zones
In these new arenas, you'll face waves of increasingly tougher enemies as you show off your combat skills and progress through the levels. Additionally, The Rogue Prince of Persia introduced a new mechanic allowing you to freeze and slow down enemies. There is also one new modes introduced in this update: Speed Run Mode
Speed Run Mode features built-in timers to track your movement and optimization skills, putting your agility to the test. Similarly, the Parkour Mode will deepen and emphasize wall running elements of gameplay, as well as routing and agility.
New Weapon and Tool
The Anniversary Update adds two new weapons and four new tools, including a trap-like tool to help you evade and take out enemies.
Seamless Parkour
To make your movement and agility more seamless than ever, parkour's pacing and difficulty have been adjusted to improve your experience as initial biomes have been shortened and paired with higher overall challenges. Additionally, the Palace boss has been completely overhauled, and is now redesigned and restructured to be significantly more challenging, making it better suited for high-power late game builds you have by that point in the run.
