Hyper Scape: Watch Streams, Get Tech Test Access

The Hyper Scape Technical Test begins today, July 2, at 9AM PT/12PM ET, and you have an opportunity to join the battle before it concludes on July 7 at 11:59PM PT/2:59AM ET. The fast-paced, sci-fi first-person shooter takes place in the year 2054, and pits 100 competitors against each other in the virtual world of Neo-Arcadia. The Technical Test initially features Crown Rush mode, which groups players into three-person squads; the solo Dark Haze mode will become available later during the test.

If you’re in one of the eligible regions and want to be part of the action, you can watch select Twitch streams and earn Twitch Drops, including access to the Technical Test. But before you do that, be sure to link your Uplay and Twitch accounts at https://drops-register.ubi.com/, and then find a stream from the list below that has “Drops Enabled” marked when you’re tuned-in.

Once you’ve successfully earned a Technical Test Drop, you’ll need to download the Uplay client (if you haven’t already) and add the game to your library by clicking the Hyper Scape banner within Uplay. All progress made during the Technical Test will carry over into the game when it becomes widely available.

For more information on the Technical Test Drops, be sure to check out our Twitch Drops FAQ, and for more on Hyper Space, visit the official site.
