Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era launched in early access on April 30, selling 250,000 copies in 24 hours. Now, the strategic empire-building prequel has passed another major milestone, selling over one million copies in its first month. A product of Ubisoft, Unfrozen Studios, and Hooded Horse, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era features six playable factions, singleplayer and multiplayer modes, and an epic adventure filled with turn-based combat, strategy, and exploration, all set on the mysterious continent Jadame.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era Roadmap

Ubisoft, Unfrozen Studios, and Hooded Horse have released the early access roadmap for the game, covering immediate plans and looking forward to 1.0 and beyond. Initial planned updates in the roadmap were inspired by player feedback:
- Teamplay mode
- Hero skill rebalance
- Improvements to random map generator
- Observer mode
- Elite Class rework
- Improvements to matchmaking
General goals for early access features include:
- Underground Terrain addition
- Map editor improvements
- Ironman mode for Campaign
Long-term plans for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era include:
- Completion of single-player campaign
- Map sharing support
- A new PvE mode
In addition to these planned implementations, all updates will introduce new content, UI improvements, AI tweaks, and quality of life improvements based on player feedback. Items in the roadmap may change as the game evolves.
