For Honor – Vortiger, The Black Prior Available Now

For Honor's roster of deadly Heroes welcomes its darkest Hero yet as Vortiger, the Black Prior, joins the fray. A member of the Knights faction, the Black Prior wields a longsword and massive kite shield and is playable in both male (Vortiger) and female (Erzebet) variants. Year 3 Pass holders have immediate access to the Black Prior, while all other players can pick up the new Knight starting February 7 for 15,000 Steel.

The Black Prior's shield makes the Hero a strong pick in objective-based team modes, enabling you to defend and counter incoming attacks from any direction. This utility helps the Black Prior maintain zone control on the battlefield. While you're holding down a location, you'll be able to help out your allies, thanks to unique Feats that allow the Black Prior to sacrifice some health to give a nearby ally a shield, disable an enemy shield, or provide a shield to all allies in close proximity.

For Honor is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and PlayStation Plus members can pick up the game for free from February 5 through March 5. For more on For Honor and the Black Prior, check out our previous coverage.
