Ubisoft announced today that the development team at Nadeo is working on Trackmania Turbo, an all-new game in the popular arcade-racing series and it's coming to the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In fact, this is the first time that a single Trackmania game will be arriving on both PC and console platforms at the same time. All three versions of the game feature four new environments, each of which offers a different racing experience. For example, the tropical stylings of Rollercoaster Lagoon offer insane, vertigo-inducing magnetic tracks. Among the other environments are International Stadium, Canyon Grand Drift, and Valley Down & Dirty.
Trackmania Turbo also features the return of some classic features from the series, such as Trackbuilder. This tool lets players construct their own tracks (or generate random ones) and share them with the rest of the Trackmania community. There's a campaign mode where players can unlock over 200 tracks and a brand-new mode called Double Driver. This is a cooperative mode where two players must work together to control the same car, at the same time.
Taking advantage of the added graphical horsepower of PCs and new-generation systems, Turbo distinct visual style springs from the mind of Creative Director François Alaux, who won an Academy Award for his work on the short film . Players can check it out for themselves when Trackmania Turbo becomes available on December 1, 2015 in the US.
