FARCRY is coming to World of Tanks, the tactical tank shooter game, for a limited-time event called Battle Pass Special: Far Cry. Running July 16-27, the event is inspired by the wild and lawless universe of the first-person shooter, and will bring:
- Five iconic FARCRY characters: Jack Carver, Dr. George Krieger, Jason Brody, Citra Talugmai, and Pagan Min
- Unique customizations and 2D styles unlocked by progressing through Chapter Stages, including:
- Trouble in Paradise – a 2D style that pays tribute to the original FARCRY game through Jack Carver’s iconic Hawaiian shirt
- Tatu – a 2D style that recreates the legendary tribal markings of the Rakyat people
- Jungle Fever – a 2D style
- A brand-new tank, the M-VII-Y featuring a jungle-crafted 3Dstyle
The M-VII-Y is a rugged American Tier IX heavy tank, built to endure when others fall behind. It’s unlockable through Chapter Progression, and comes with the Twisting Paths 3D style. The design features palm leaves on the turret that create a distinctive silhouette reminiscent of the madness and instability throughout FARCRY, as well as a tank gun inspired by Citra’s knife that has a blade-like shape and carved tribal patterns.
The FARCRY characters can also be recruited through Chapter Progression as well as through additional themed bundles, with each character featuring unique voiceovers.
