Netflix’s live-action Assassin’s Creed adaptation has cast Noomi Rapace (Lamb, Prometheus), Sean Harris (Mission: Impossible, The Stranger), Ramzy Bedia (Of Money and Blood, Haunted Minds, The Party’s Over), and Corrado Invernizzi (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Ford v Ferrari, Doctor Who,) in recurring roles. Developed in collaboration with Ubisoft Film & Television, this high-octane thriller is centered on the secret war between two shadowy factions – one set on determining mankind’s future through control and manipulation, while the other fights to preserve free will. The Assassin’s Creed series will follow its characters across pivotal historical events as the two factions battle to shape humanity’s destiny.
Rapace, Harris, Bedia, and Invernizzi join previously announced cast members Lola Petticrew (Say Nothing, Trespasses, Tuesday), Toby Wallace (Euphoria Season 3, The Bikeriders), Zachary Hart (Slow Horses), Laura Marcus (Death by Lightning, Sunrise on the Reaping), and Tanzyn Crawford (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms). Robert Patino (Westworld, Sons of Anarchy, DMZ) and David Wiener (Halo, Homecoming, The Killing) are showrunners and executive producers, with Gerard Guillemot Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, and Genevieve Jones executive producing for Ubisoft Film & Television. Matt O’Toole will executive produce as well.
The live-action Assassin’s Creed series will be the first project produced under the Netflix-Ubisoft deal.
