BattleCore Arena Out Now in Early Access

BattleCore Arena is now available in early access on PC via Ubisoft Connect, the Epic Games Store, and Steam, and to celebrate, players who take part between June 6 and June 13 will automatically unlock an exclusive First Wave banner to show off their early-adopter status.

BattleCore Arena is a free-to-play PvP platform shooter where players control a spherical Core and roll, jump, dash, and blast to outmaneuver opponents across multi-tiered maps with a range of gravitational forces. Using a variety of close- and mid-range attacks, players can eject their opponents (or, of course, be ejected by their opponents) from the arena, and wield perks to help allies, evade threats, or knock out enemies.

Players can jump into PvP modes including Backup, a 3v3 team deathmatch; Q-Ball, in which players compete for possession of the titular Core; and Free-for-all. New game modes, along with new arenas, equipment, and cosmetics will be added in upcoming seasons while the game is in Early Access, along with new features as requested by the community. Each season will also be a chance for players to unlock exclusive cosmetics with a Season Pass, including Core and armor skins, elimination explosions, banners, and more.

Originally created by a team of three developers, BattleCore Arena was picked up for full production by Ubisoft after it won first prize at a videogame festival in Bordeaux.
