Ubisoft+ Spotlight - South Park: The Stick of Truth

(Editorial note: This is a series of quick weekly highlights written by Ubisoft News team writers that feature games available with a Ubisoft+ subscription. We hope you'll enjoy reminiscing with us, or perhaps discover something new.)

Brittany Spurlin, Writer/Editor: The town of South Park needs your help! In South Park: The Stick of Truth, you take on the role of New Kid, quickly becoming enmeshed in an epic fantasy role-playing game and fighting with Princess Kenny, Butters, and Cartman to recapture the Stick of Truth, which gives the bearer unlimited power. Though the adventure begins with all the staples of a fantasy tale, complete with wizards, elves, and more, it quickly escalates to a wild story involving aliens, a government conspiracy, and disgusting goo-creature zombies.

When you start the Stick of Truth, you get to pick a character class for New Kid, each one with specific abilities (the Fighter specializes in melee attacks, the Thief in sneaking around, the Mage with magic). Armed with your favorite playstyle, you'll venture out into South Park to fight the elves and reclaim the Stick of Truth, earning experience points per encounter and leveling up your abilities as you go. You'll also be able to unlock new areas of the map and new abilities like teleportation. Plus, by collecting Chinpokomon toys and adding friends to New Kid's Facebook page, you'll be able to unlock new stats like extra damage or increased resistance to damage.

You can play South Park: The Stick of Truth today with a Ubisoft+ subscription.
