Anika Grant Named Chief People Officer of Ubisoft

Ubisoft has appointed Anika Grant as the company’s new Chief People Officer. Serving most recently as the Global HR Director at Dyson, and previously as a Senior Director of HR at Uber, Grant brings exceptional knowledge of international HR management in tech and high-growth industries to Ubisoft, enabling the Group to leverage a strong workplace structure anchored in respect and wellbeing where all individuals can thrive, learn and grow. Before joining Ubisoft, she was Global HR Director at Dyson, prior to which she held the position of Senior Director HR at Uber, where she was accountable for building significant parts of the HR team in international markets during a period of hyper-growth. A major focus during her time at Uber was to instigate and lead real change across significant parts of the business, including culture, leadership accountability and HR practices. Before joining Uber, Anika spent almost 20 years at Accenture, starting her career as a consultant, before transitioning into HR and eventually moving to Singapore as the APAC HR Director. Grant will report directly to Ubisoft Co-Founder and CEO Yves Guillemot.

“I am very happy to welcome Anika Grant as our new Chief People Officer. Her energy, optimism and breadth of experience will be great assets to keep evolving our approach to HR and talent management,” Guillemot said. “Working alongside me, Anika’s mission will consist of aligning all our HR teams with a strong, shared vision, building a robust talent pipeline, and implementing innovative and new ways of working.”

Anika will be focused on implementing innovative and best-in-class strategies to attract, develop and engage the best talents, as well as contributing to improve the organizational performance of Ubisoft.

“I’m excited to be part of Ubisoft, whose mission is to provide opportunities for enrichment and self-discovery through innovative and original gaming experiences,” Grant said. “I am also incredibly proud to partner with the talented, passionate people at Ubisoft to deliver on this mission, and confident that together, we will continue making Ubisoft an employer of choice, one that offers its team members exciting challenges, a welcoming and open environment, and the freedom to express their creativity every day.”
