Brawlhalla's Midseason Championships, the first major LAN competition for Year 9, ended with big wins for Lores and Kyna after running from June 28-30 in Daytona, Florida. The tournament featured a singles and a doubles bracket, offering a total of $100,000 in prize money. In case you missed it, here's what went down.

The morning of the first two days of the tournament whittled down the competition in the singles and doubles pools, while afternoon sessions saw the top 32 players duke it out for a spot in the top 8 and 4 bracket spots, respectively. Then, on Championship Sunday, Lores and Kyna from Brazil emerged victorious in the doubles bracket, and Kyna KO'd all his opponents to clinch the singles bracket victory as well.

If you missed the Midseason Championship, Brawlhalla's ninth year of esports is far from over. The Brawlhalla World Championships 2024 (BCX) will kick off at the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta, Georgia, this November. In addition to a world-class tournament, admission to BCX includes the Brawlhalla Expo, which celebrates the game and its community. Attendees can meet developers and pro players, earn exclusive in-game items, get special merchandise, and more. Both Expo and Competitor passes for BCX 2024 are on sale now, and those who sign up for a competitor pass by July 31 will receive a swag pack at the venue (which includes a Brawlhalla Limited Edition pin, Sticker sheet, event bracelet and T-Shirt, and water bottle) as well as an exclusive in-game Title delivered via email.
