Ubisoft+ Spotlight - Old School Musical

(Editorial note: This is a series of quick weekly highlights written by Ubisoft News team writers that feature games available with a Ubisoft+ subscription. We hope you'll enjoy reminiscing with us, or perhaps discover something new.)

Brittany Spurlin, Writer/Editor: Look at all those chickens! Old School Musical is a wacky rhythm-based adventure starring Tib and Rob, two brothers who have trained their whole lives to be musical heroes. Now, they'll have to fight an evil chicken army that has corrupted their world, and many others, with glitches that threaten to destroy their very 8-bit existence.

The music is what really makes this game shine; you'll need to hit arrow keys on beat in order to move Tib and Rob throughout the world and fight their various battles. Old School Musical revels in retro style with 60 unique tracks, and features work from real-life artists including Dubmood, Zabutom, Hello World, Yponeko, Toriena, mistermv, and le Plancton. You can also form a band and play with up to three friends in the game's multiplayer mode, which isn't a bad idea - there are 20 different story levels and 32 types of chickens to fight in the game.

You can play Old School Musical today with a Ubisoft+ subscription.
