A free demo of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is now available exclusively on Nintendo Switch, so you can dive in and start your cosmic journey with Mario, Rabbid Peach, and their friends. You can download the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Demo from the Nintendo eShop and play the game’s prologue and part of its first planet, Beacon Beach. And for players looking for new challenges to take on, the game’s first DLC, Tower of Doooom, is also out now.
Available exclusively for Season Pass owners, The Tower of Doooom brings our Heroes into a mysterious tower to meet with Madame Bwahstrella, who needs their help to ascend the tower, subdue Cursa’s minions, and rescue their old friend Spawny. This DLC features a brand-new game mode focused on combat; you’ll need to fight your way through procedurally generated battles to reach the top of the tower, using a mix of the tactical gameplay of the main game with an additional layer of strategy.
Starting with four Heroes and Sparks randomly selected from the main game’s full roster, you will build and upgrade your team throughout your expedition, plan strategically, and adapt your tactics to succeed. But reaching the end of the Tower of Doooom is only the beginning; those who succeed will unlock new expeditions with increasing difficulty and new cosmetic rewards.
Alongside the release of the DLC and free demo, minor bug fixes and updates have also been added to the main game. Updates include notifications letting you know that vaults can be replayed (if you’re trying to 100% complete the game, vaults should be played twice), and new animations that appear when you feed Starbits to Sparks.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is available in both Standard and Gold Editions on Nintendo Switch. Players can connect to the Nintendo eShop and download the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Demo for free. The Tower of Doooom mode is accessible via the main menu for players who own the game and the Season Pass; the Season Pass is only included with the Gold Edition.
