Just Dance 2026 Edition released a new behind-the-scenes video about the Kitipo map*, which was created in collaboration with hip-hop dancer and sophrologist Angelina Bruno. The video features exclusive footage from the map shoot as well as Bruno’s insights on resilience, confidence, and self-expression through an intimate look at her journey.
Bruno, who recently performed at the opening and closing ceremonies for the Paralympic Games, wants to share how dance can empower people to embrace their identity and inspire others. Through her art, she embraces her disability and transforms it into a source of creative expression, and her collaboration with Just Dance emphasizes the universal language of movement.
“Someone who looks like me could say: it’s not impossible for me to dance,” she says. “It gives people who are like us symbols and representation.”
“The map we created with Angelina Bruno for Just Dance 2026 Edition embodies the spirit of Just Dance, where every dancer’s individuality shines,” says Hélène Jeannin, Content Director at Ubisoft Paris Studio. “Angelina brings her incredible energy and talent to the screen. Her presence in the Kitipo map celebrates unity and self-expression.”
The Kitipo map itself, performed by Dominican artists Dixson Waz, La Tukiti, and Amenazandel, features a van tricked out with a massive sound system, inspired by vibrant local street parties in the Caribbean.
Just Dance 2026 Edition invites everyone to connect through the joy of movement, featuring a wide range of coaches who represent different bodies, styles, and worlds, as well as unique choreographies like Feather (Parachute Version), which is designed to be performed sitting down.
Just Dance 2026 Edition is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 via backwards compatibility.
