Starting today, Rainbow Six Siege players can tear up the competition in an all-new (and highly destructible) map, Border, and Season Pass holders can do so while playing as two new Operators, Valkyrie and Blackbeard of the US Navy SEALs. It's all part of the Operation Dust Line, the second major content update for Rainbow Six Siege, which also brings a slew of other additions and changes aimed at giving players more customization options and improving the overall experience.
At the forefront of all these additions are Valkyrie and Blackbeard, who are immediately available to Season Pass holders for a seven-day exclusivity period, after which all players will be able to unlock them using Renown or R6 Credits. Called in to help Team Rainbow to secure the Border, the two bring unique new gadgets and abilities to the Operator roster. For example, Valkyrie – the Defender of the duo – can throw "Black Eye" sticky cameras that can be used by any team member to spy on opponents.
Blackbeard, meanwhile, comes with a TARS Mk 0 (which stands for Transparent Armored Rifle Shield), giving him mobile cover without sacrificing his field of view or destructive capability.
That's just the beginning of what Operation Dust Line brings to the game, and you can see the full list of features and changes on the official site. Rainbow Six Siege is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
