Rainbow Six Siege is launching a brand new esports program to bring together the best players in the US. The US Nationals kicks off on July 14 and will offer $50,000 in prizes to the top teams.
The US Nationals will begin with online tournaments every Saturday. Teams will be split between East and West conferences to ensure competitive parity. Any team can register and enter the Saturday tournaments, which will run until the top two teams in each conference are identified.
Following the open qualifiers, the four best teams will compete in the Stage Finals, a live Friday broadcast in which teams will play intra-conference matches to determine an Eastern and Western champion. The two champions will then compete to determine the Stage Champion. There will be three Stage Finals between July and October to determine the top three teams in each conference. These teams – along with one wildcard team from each conference – will then compete in an eight-team National Finals tournament in December.
