Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed adaptation has cast Lola Petticrew (Say Nothing, Trespasses, Tuesday) as a series regular alongside Toby Wallace (Euphoria Season 3, The Bikeriders). The Irish actor was recently nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Lead Performance and a BAFTA Television Award for Leading Actress, and won the Irish Film & Television Award for Best Lead Actress for their work on Hulu’s Say Nothing.
The live-action adaptation, developed in collaboration with Ubisoft Film & Television, is a high-octane thriller centered on the secret war between two shadowy factions — one set on determining mankind’s future through control and manipulation, while the other fights to preserve free will. The series follows its characters across pivotal historical events as they battle to shape humanity’s destiny.
Assassin's Creed is the first of several planned adaptations under Netflix’s deal with Ubisoft Film & Television for Assassin’s Creed. The show has signed Emmy nominees Roberto Patino (DMZ, Westworld, Sons of Anarchy) and David Wiener (Halo, Homecoming, The Killing) as creators, showrunners, and executive producers. Ubisoft Film & Television’s Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill and Genevieve Jones will also executive produce, as will Matt O’Toole.
Netflix is also home to the Splinter Cell: Deathwatch animated series, which is nominated for Best Video Game Adaptation at the 2025 Game Awards. Stay tuned to Ubisoft News for more news about the live-action Assassin’s Creed adaptation and other projects from Ubisoft Film & Television.
