Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, the upcoming Netflix animated series, debuted a teaser trailer during Geeked Week. The trailer also revealed that Liev Schrieber (The Perfect Couple, Ray Donovan) stars as Sam Fisher.
Inspired by the Splinter Cell videogame franchise, Deathwatch follows Sam Fisher, an elite member of the US government's Fourth Echelon black-ops division. Derek Kolstad (John Wick) is the series' head writer and executive producer, with Guillame Dousse and Félicien Colmet-Daage directing. Ubisoft Film & Television's Helene Juguet, Hugo Revon, and Gérard Guillemot also served as executive producers.
