Heroes of Might and Might III Remake is coming in 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Visual Upgrades
Visually, the Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake has been rebuilt from the ground up in Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine, trading the fixed 2D isometric perspective for a highly detailed 3D world and free camera control. Additional visual upgrades include:

Narrative and Gameplay
Queen Catherine has called upon you to join her crusade to restore order to Erathia, which has been torn apart by her father’s assassination and an onslaught of invading factions. Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake includes the entire continent of the original game as well as its two expansions, Armageddon’s Blade and The Shadow of Death. It also includes all original campaigns and iconic factions, which are:

The story is now woven together into a single, continuous experience, and features a new introductory prologue campaign designed to ease players into the world and gameplay. The game will bring an improved matchmaking experience, a simultaneous turn system, and the return of the fan-favorite Hot Seat mode.

Honoring the Heroes of Might and Magic’s deep community roots, the remake will preserve compatibility with the thousands of maps and campaigns created by players over the past 25 years, keeping its rich legacy in place for you to experience from day one. The remake will also feature a modern audio system, featuring voice acting, layered tracks, and rich, ambient sound effects, drawing you deeper into the game’s atmospheric world. You’ll also experience new sonic cues tied to gameplay actions like combat, spellcasting, and morale shifts, reinforcing the feel of the original game while striking a delicate balance between nostalgia and modernity.
