Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, the animated series starring Liev Schreiber as legendary agent Sam Fisher, will premiere globally on Netflix on October 14. An adaptation of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell franchise, Deathwatch focuses on Sam Fisher as he is drawn back into the field when a wounded young operative seeks his help. Netflix debuted an action-packed full-length trailer for Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, which you can watch below:
The new trailer gives fans a look at additional characters in the series, including more of Zinnia McKenna (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), the young operative being hunted down for possessing valuable intel, and Diana Shetland, CEO of green tech company Xanadu and daughter of the late Douglas Shetland. The trailer also showcases the type of action viewers can expect throughout the series as Fisher and McKenna team up to take on the trained killers that come after them.
Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is produced by Ubisoft, in partnership with animation studios Sun Creature and Fost. Derek Kolstad (John Wick) is the series' head writer and executive producer, with Guillaume Dousse and Félicien Colmet-Daâge directing. Ubisoft Film & Television's Helene Juguet, Hugo Revon, and Gérard Guillemot also serve as executive producers.
