Triton Noir, the studio behind the V-Commandos board game series, is gearing up to capture the spirit of Assassin's Creed in a dynamic, tactical board game. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice brings players back to Renaissance-era Italy, where they'll assume the roles of Assassins working together to infiltrate Templar strongholds.
Featuring a mix of new and familiar characters, the game lets players navigate its scenarios with detailed miniatures, as well as cards representing actions, items, and events. Brotherhood of Venice is being co-created by three former Ubisoft employees: Triton Noir founder Thibaud de la Touanne; story designer Fabrice Lamidey, who was creative director on Assassin's Creed Initiates, as well as one of the designers of the Nephilim role-playing game; and co-author Manuel Rozoy, also lead designer of the board game TIME Stories.
A Kickstarter campaign for the game begins on November 13; to find out more, visit the official Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice site.
