Taking flight in a helicopter over the cartel-controlled countryside in Ghost Recon Wildlands can be a risky proposition, but Title Update 6 is bringing changes to helicopter controls and handling that make flying both easier to control and more authentic. In addition to the control tweaks (detailed below), each type of helicopter now flies differently, and choppers won't take off until they reach the correct RPM. If the new control scheme isn't the right fit for you, you can always switch back to the old controls. You'll still be able to benefit from the new crosshairs (for gatling choppers) and lock-on targeting (for rocket choppers). Small helicopters armed with rockets will behave a bit differently, firing rocket salvos instead of locking on to enemies.
Title Update 6 also brings an assortment of bug fixes that you can read about on the official site . It will also kick off season 3 of Live Season Challenges, which will bring new challenges and new rewards to participating players. • Now the triggers control the vertical speed (LT = vertical descending speed, RT = vertical ascending speed)
• The left stick controls the horizontal speed (up/down = forward/backward, left/right = left/right)
• Left/right on the right stick controls the rotation speed of the chopper
• Up/down on the right stick controls the rotation speed of the camera (allows you to control camera which in turn guides the helicopter's direction)
