Buckle your seatbelts, rev your engines, and get ready to race, because The Crew 2 is getting a major update and coming to Stadia on March 25. Titled Inner Drive, the new update adds 20 new vehicles for all players to earn or purchase, including the 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko (Hypercar) and 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (Street Race). Inner Drive is also bringing new weekly LIVE Summits, with a special Premium LIVE Summit once a month that will reward the best competitors with a special edition vehicle.
Competition is all well and good, but we know what you really want to know: What new customization items are there? Inner Drive includes four new vanity categories, including window tints, nitro customization, and custom horns. Eight new player avatars are also joining the fun, and you’ll get to see your stylish customizations more often, as you’re now able to explore your home and racer HQ in third-person view.
Finally, Stadia players can get their hands on The Crew 2 on March 25. The Stadia version supports 1080p resolution and includes the base game and all major updates, including Demolition Derby, Hot Shots, Gator Rush, and Blazing Shots. The Crew 2 will also support Stream Connect, allowing players to view their friends’ in-game perspectives, so you’ll know exactly where they are when you’re racing down to the wire against them.
The Crew 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and coming soon to Stadia. For more on the game, check out our previous coverage.
